Brazil

Context

The "Voices of Recovery" project in Brazil has been developed in the state of Pará.

We are focusing on the traditional communities that live in the Sustainable Use Reserves or Quilombola communities.

We work with communities within the Tapajós-Arapiuns Reserva-Extractiva (RESEX) and Tapajós Bosque Nacional (FLONA) reserves, as well as with communities adjacent to the cities of Cametá and Belém in the state of Pará.

In Brazil, the project is funded by the São Paulo Research Foundation (FAPESP).
