The Potsoteni indigenous community has undergone deep transformations that have continually redefined its forms of social and territorial organization. Since its founding in the 1970s, the community has experienced multiple crises that have tested the resilience and adaptability of Asháninka families, shaping a historical trajectory marked by discontinuity, ongoing reconstruction, and a constant search for stability in a territory permeated by dynamics of violence and vulnerability.
